Japanese Man Wore a Wig to Sneak Into Women’s Restroom
A 23-year-old man in Japan has been arrested again after allegedly trespassing on private property to secretly film women bathing. What makes the case even more disturbing is that, in an earlier incident, he allegedly wore a wig to disguise himself as a woman and sneak into a women’s restroom.
The suspect, an office worker from Ayagawa, Kagawa Prefecture, had already been arrested multiple times in 2026 for allegedly entering women’s restrooms at various locations.
Man Wore a Wig to Sneak Into Women’s Restroom
According to KSB Setonaikai Broadcasting, the man allegedly trespassed onto private residential properties on three occasions between October 2024 and November 2025.
During two of these incidents, he allegedly used his smartphone to secretly record naked women bathing, filming them through bathroom windows.
But that wasn’t the only method the suspect allegedly used.
In an incident at a commercial facility in December 2025, he allegedly put on a women’s wig to disguise himself and gain access to a restroom reserved for women.
A Series of Trespassing Incidents at Different Locations
This latest arrest is just the most recent in a string of allegations against the man. Before this, he had already been arrested three times in 2026 for allegedly entering women’s restrooms at:
- Train stations;
- High schools;
- Commercial facilities.
Police are now investigating whether the cases may be connected to other unsolved incidents.
Police Found Approximately 250 Videos
During the investigation, officers also searched the suspect’s smartphone and personal computer.
According to police, the devices contained approximately 250 voyeuristic videos.
When questioned by investigators, the man allegedly admitted to the accusations, saying:
“I couldn’t control my sexual desires.”
He faces allegations related to trespassing and the illicit recording of sexual images.
