An extremely famous hentai artist ended up going viral after being banned from Pixiv, a platform where many artists publish their illustrations, and everyone agrees that the reason for his ban is actually something he should be proud of.

We’ve talked about Hirune before, as I previously covered his story about how he started out as an artist publishing a shonen manga that got canceled, leading him to start drawing hentai, where he eventually found much greater success.

However, Hirune creates incredibly beautiful and detailed artwork. Have you ever seen the page below showing a basketball game?

Believe it or not, that artwork is just a single page from one of Hirune’s HENTAI manga. That’s the level of his art. Below are a few more examples of his work:

So what happened? Hirune received an email from Pixiv informing him that his account had been BANNED. And the reason? According to Pixiv, Hirune was publishing artwork that “is equivalent to real photographs or extremely realistic images.”
