Artist Shows the Difference in Breast Size in Real Life, Anime and Manga and Gains Multiple References

No one can draw breasts consistently, did you know that? I often see many people complaining about artists who end up changing the breast size of a character, but it’s complicated to maintain consistency. A tweet went viral reaching 7 million views by showing the difference in breast size between real life, anime and manga.
The tweet was made by the artist Kei, and as I mentioned, it reached more than 7 million views. Below is the artwork showing the difference in breast sizes:

The image above compares F-cup breasts in real life, anime and manga. F size is already large, okay? Remember that A is the smallest, B is larger than A, C is larger than B, and so on. So F is a large size.
On the left we have real-life F-cup breasts. The description below says: “When clothed, surprisingly it doesn’t look that big.”
In the middle we have the same F size in anime. The description says: “The size is similar to the size of the face.”
On the right it says: “Breasts larger than the face.”
But the most surprising part happened afterward, because a lot of women, cosplayers, VTubers, artists, and ordinary women started posting photos of their breasts and sharing their cup sizes so people could have a reference of how each size looks with clothes.
Check out some of the photos that were posted:

Let’s see how the Japanese reacted:
- The F in real life is probably a bit smaller, isn’t it?
In that quoted post, several women with huge breasts are self-reporting their cup sizes, which is very helpful. It feels like a life bible. Worth revisiting from time to time. - After freedom of expression, there was a paradise.
- Real-life F isn’t that big, right?
- I looked at the quoted post and it was just breasts everywhere.
- My mom is an F, but it looks like anime.
- In real life there is also quite a lot of freedom in how this is shown, so you can’t generalize.
- If the person is thin, even with large breasts it doesn’t look that huge. It looked like E? F? I once knew a thin person who was
- H-cup.
- I think real-life ones are quite big too. Those who don’t have them really don’t have them lol.
- My wife is F-cup, but it looks like manga.
- In real life it depends a lot on body structure.
- An F you can touch vs an F you can only see.
- In 18+ content, I would even prefer it to be closer to real body proportions.
- Real-life F feels a bit smaller to me. I think it’s roughly the width of clothing.
What did you think of the references?
