Two teachers at a public school in Japan were suspended after being caught having sex inside the very school where they taught. The case happened in Kobe, and it went viral because the two reportedly had sex in practically every part of the school.

According to local authorities, the encounters began around August last year and continued until early March this year. The sexual relationship happened outside working hours, but still inside the school premises.
The places used included classrooms, hallways, the male locker room, and even a room used as storage. The situation was discovered when the vice principal was making an inspection round in the late afternoon and heard suspicious noises coming from a storage room.
When checking the place, he found the male teacher and the female teacher leaving the room, and the woman showed visible signs that her clothes were disheveled. From that point, the case was reported to the school administration and later to the city’s board of education.
The two involved were coworkers at a municipal elementary school located in the Suma district. The 34-year-old male teacher and the 24-year-old female teacher (a 10-year age gap!) were each suspended for six months after the investigation confirmed the facts.
During the disciplinary process, both stated that they “could not control themselves,” according to information released by the Japanese press. That explanation caused even more discussion on social media, and people even started creating fanfics about the two.
In addition to the punishment given to both teachers, the 57-year-old school principal also received a formal warning for supervisory responsibility and failure in managing the school environment. Can you imagine these two going back to work after all this attention?
