The AV actress gave an interview to the website SPA, where she revealed her story and what made her debut in JAV, and I can already tell you that her life was intense. Miori Yurikawa begins by saying that she suffered bullying since elementary school because of her voice. According to her, her voice was very high-pitched and some classmates said that she seemed like she was “acting a character”, using that as a reason to attack her.
The situation reached an extreme point when, on one occasion, someone poured curry over her head. After that, she told her parents, who contacted the school to ask for help. However, according to Miori, the teachers denied that bullying existed and said that the problem was her difficulty in getting along with her classmates.
From isolation to the beginning of her idol career
Without support from the institution, her parents decided that she could change schools.
After leaving school, Miori spent a period more isolated, but she started visiting Harajuku, a place famous for Japanese fashion. She liked lolita-style clothing and ended up being approached by talent scouts.
Her mother found the business cards she had received and decided to contact some agencies, believing that an entertainment career could help her get out of that situation.
At the age of 15, Miori started her career as an idol and later became a first-generation member of the group Bakusute Sotokanda Icchome, previously using the name Mio Katsuragi.
She also tried other paths within entertainment, such as acting in stage productions and studying voice acting. It is also worth mentioning that, at the age of 15, she worked in gravure, and in 2023 she released this video on her Twitter that she recorded WHEN SHE WAS 15 YEARS OLD!!!!

After university, Miori tried to pursue a normal career and worked as a secretary for a hospital director. However, she revealed that she suffered sexual harassment during that period. According to her account, the director made comments about her body, touched her legs, and even licked her foot.
She also stated that coworkers spread rumors that she was his mistress. The experience made her rethink her professional future. Miori explained that one of the reasons for choosing an adult career was that, if she was going to face harassment in a normal job, she preferred to make a conscious decision about her own path.

In 2023, Miori started her career as an adult actress, but revealed that she spent about a year thinking before making that decision. She said her mother was initially against the possibility, but changed her mind after understanding that the choice was part of a new professional challenge.
Her father found out about her debut after seeing a report about her in a sports newspaper. According to Miori, his reaction was surprising: he simply told her to “do her best”.
Besides acting, Miori revealed that she has other plans for the future, including creating a jewelry brand. She intends to use her real name for this project to separate her professional image from her current entertainment career.
Even so, she says she wants to continue growing as an adult actress. Her goal is to remain in the industry for many years, including when she gets older. She even joked that she intends to continue working until she is 100 years old.
