Announced as a TV anime, Japanese fans are now speculating that the Mii-chan to Yamada-san anime may no longer be broadcast on television, and the reason behind this theory is a change to a banner on the Shonen Magazine website.

When you visit the Shonen Magazine website, you can see several banners at the top of the page. They showcase different types of news, and when the Mii-chan to Yamada-san anime announcement happened, the displayed banner looked like this:

The banner above stated that a “TV anime” adaptation of Mii-chan to Yamada-san had been announced. This led to controversy surrounding the series, as Mii-chan is a character who struggles with mental difficulties and experiences bullying, among other situations throughout the story.

However, after the discussion began, fans noticed that the banner on the Shonen Magazine website had been changed. Take a look:

The noticeable change was the removal of the “TV” label. Because of this (strange) modification, theories started spreading that the plans may have changed and that the Mii-chan to Yamada-san anime might no longer be released as a television anime.

The change is certainly unusual, but no official announcement has been made so far, meaning this remains only a fan theory. It is also worth mentioning that, at the time this article was published, the Mii-chan to Yamada-san banner had been completely removed from the Shonen Magazine website.
