Man Throws 4kg Dumbbell at Sister After She Knocks Down His Anime Figures
A man attacked his own sister over anime figures after an argument about the volume of videos and games at their home in Yamatotakada City, Nara Prefecture, Japan.
According to local police, 26-year-old Yoshinori Honma was arrested on August 29 after hitting his older sister, who is in her 30s, with a 4kg dumbbell.

According to authorities, Honma’s sister had entered his room several times to complain about the volume of the videos and games he was watching and playing.
After ignoring her complaints, the man reportedly became angry when his sister knocked his anime figures off a shelf.
Honma then allegedly pushed her to the floor, grabbed the dumbbell, and struck her in the head.
During the interrogation, the suspect reportedly said that he hit her thinking that he did not care if she died. He also stated that the two had a history of conflicts and that he lost his temper during the argument.
The woman was taken to a hospital with head injuries, but police said that her injuries were not life-threatening.
The case is being investigated by Nara Prefectural Police.
