A huge fan of the idol series The Idolmaster posted a tweet saying:

“I got divorced because of Idolmaster.”

“Having a hobby in common was what brought us together and ended up being one of the reasons we got married. However, that alone was not enough to maintain a married life.

For those who dream of an ‘Idolmaster marriage’: being compatible in your hobbies and being compatible in everyday life are two different things.”

Although the screenshot above shows relatively little reach, with only a small number of likes and views, the tweet ended up sparking a huge discussion among Japanese internet users. And do you want to know why?
