Japanese VTuber Hatsuka Neru revealed that she has been facing problems caused by a small group of users who have allegedly been engaging in excessive monitoring, stalking, unauthorized recordings, and spreading rumors about her personal life.

According to the statement published by the VTuber (who, as you may have noticed, does not hide her face), these actions have reached a level that directly interferes with her daily life and professional activities. She emphasized that while she receives support from many respectful fans, there is a concerning reality faced by many content creators: the psychological pressure caused by invasive behavior.
The VTuber also explained that her statement is not intended to attack anyone, but rather to raise awareness and ensure that she can continue her activities in a safe environment.
Company Strengthens Measures Against Harassment
Following the VTuber’s statement, the division responsible for supporting Rakuten’s talents also released an official notice.

The company reinforced the prohibition of practices such as stalking, waiting at event locations, inappropriate attempts at contact, recording without consent, and attacks on social media. In addition, it announced plans to strengthen its monitoring and security systems both online and at in-person events.
The statement also highlighted that the majority of fans support creators respectfully, but stricter measures are necessary to protect the physical and mental well-being of talents.
