Cosplayer Asks Fans to Call Her the Boobs Alchemist
Obviously looking to become popular, cosplayer Makina revealed that she adjusts her bust for each cosplay according to the character’s features, either making it look smaller or making it appear even larger.
Makina herself explained that she does not want to be seen simply as a cosplayer who is constantly showing off her body. Because of this, depending on the character she chooses, she makes different adjustments to make her appearance closer to the original design.

In a post, she joked that she puts so much work behind the scenes into adjusting her bust that she deserves to be called the “Boobs Alchemist.”
“So that I don’t end up being just a big-breasted person who shows off, depending on the character, I pull my breasts to the sides so they don’t create cleavage, or I do my best to make them bigger so I can have a large bust that matches the character. I actually put a tremendous amount of effort into this behind the scenes, so I want people to call me the ‘Boobs Alchemist.’”
And the reference to the title did not end there. Makina also joked that whenever she meets Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist, she would like him to say something like: “Hey, Boobs.”
The interesting thing is that Makina’s concern is not just a joke. In her cosplays, she tries to visually adjust the size of her bust according to the character.
When portraying a character with a smaller bust, for example, she explains that she tries to prevent cleavage from showing by moving her bust toward the sides. When the character has a larger bust, she does the opposite and tries to increase the volume to better match the character’s design.
Makina has already cosplayed characters such as Yume Hanami from Gakuen Idolmaster, Anis from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Tojiha Yae from Nue’s Exorcist, Temari Tsukimura, also from Gakuen Idolmaster, and Revy from Black Lagoon.
One follower even asked how it would be possible to make the bust look smaller while wearing a kimono. Makina replied that, when cosplaying characters with smaller breasts, her main goal is simply to prevent cleavage from showing.
She explained that, when wearing a kimono, she believes a bra designed specifically for traditional Japanese clothing or a compression garment used for crossplay can help create a better-looking result.
