Although many Japanese people praised her attitude, some criticized her decision to share the donation on social media. Some comments questioned why she posted about the help, accusing her of trying to seek attention.

Tano Yu responded that by sharing her donation, she hoped more people would feel encouraged to contribute as well.

However, what really caused controversy was when one person thanked her for the donation while calling it “dirty money.” Tano Yu noticed the comment and decided to respond, which generated a huge number of reactions online.

The reactions to Tano’s response were mostly positive. Some victims even posted messages thanking her and saying that her profession does not matter, because what truly matters is helping others.

Jusei, the author of the “dirty money” tweet, later tried to explain himself after receiving backlash. He said he never denied the donation and that he thanked her, but he still believes money earned by AV actresses is “dirty” because it reflects his personal values. He also stated that he has the right to think that way

Many users have been making jokes about his comments in the replies.

Japanese Actress Also Became Known for Other Actions

This was not the first time Tano attracted attention from the Japanese public.
