Adult Artist Aiue Oka Receives Threats for Objectifying Women, Responds Saying He’ll Do Even Worse

Hentai manga author Echizen has reportedly been receiving defamatory emails and messages wishing for his death because of the content he creates. Echizen works together with Waon, and the two publish under the name Aiue Oka.
Aiue Oka is well known for the series “Hypnotic Sexual Counseling,” an adult work centered around hypnosis and controversial themes that has gained attention among fans of the genre.

The series has multiple volumes and anime adaptations. Today, however, Echizen revealed that he has contacted his lawyer after receiving numerous hostile emails.
He wrote:

“I received an email saying something like: ‘You bastard who draws erotic manga treating women like objects—you never should have been born! Die!’
So I stopped to reflect seriously and concluded that I need to draw even more manga focused solely on the satisfaction of my own pleasurable ejaculation, with girls being used merely as ‘holes.’ It was a great lesson for me.”

As shown above, he received a message wishing for his death. Rather than appearing intimidated, Echizen responded sarcastically, saying he would only become even more committed to his work. His post attracted nearly 300,000 views, and it appears the sender of the emails saw it as well, prompting another update.

“Looks like the person saw this tweet because they’ve started sending emails like crazy lol.
The police and my lawyers are already handling the situation, so if they keep sending more defamatory messages, that actually helps provide additional evidence.”
Echizen, one half of the Aiue Oka duo, stated that he has already contacted the police. It is unclear whether the emails included death threats or other potentially criminal content, but the case has now entered legal channels.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that a hentai manga creator has received threatening messages. Other authors have also reportedly faced death threats over works involving controversial themes, including netorare.
