The United Kingdom cannot be real… A VTuber named Mimi Yanagi revealed on her profile that she was ARRESTED by UK police because of her own illustrations and is currently free after posting bail, but she is still waiting for her case to move forward.

According to the statement published, Mimi Yanagi said she was arrested by UK police for possession of her own artwork, and that was the only reason mentioned so far. After the arrest, all of her electronic devices were seized by the authorities, including devices used for work and communication with her audience.
She is currently out on bail while waiting for the result of the criminal investigation into her accounts and activities. This stage requires several legal restrictions that directly affect her online presence and her professional routine.
Among the bail conditions, Mimi was forced to create a new social media account and also use a profile name previously approved by the officers handling her case. The new profile she shared is @Mimi_Yabaii, apparently using her real name Alexandra Williams.
