Our Home My Keeper é uma Sobrenatural VN Yuri entre uma Humana e uma Brownie

I had the opportunity to play Studio Élan’s latest Yuri visual novel, Our Home My Keeper, which was released on April 30, 2026, and is available on Steam.

As is customary to mention, I received the game from the developer, and it took me a total of 5 hours and 24 minutes to finish it.

But let’s get to it, what is this game about?

Our Home My Keeper

The story follows writer Paige (the girl with glasses). She became successful writing children’s books, but for her new project she is suffering from writer’s block. Determined to overcome it, she decides to move to the English countryside, to a very small and peaceful town, although we end up encountering some supernatural elements there.

It’s worth mentioning that Paige has a well-developed goth ex-girlfriend who works making dolls. Although the two ended their relationship, they are good friends nowadays and literally nothing more than that.

This super beautiful goth ex, who was totally wasted on the bland protagonist (sorry, but I think Paige’s design is really plain; every other girl in this VN has a better design), ends up making a doll to stay with Paige during her time in this house (which has quite a bit of history).

And as soon as she leaves, the story truly begins. During the night, Paige starts having nightmares and hearing voices that say very unpleasant things to her. It almost seems like the house she found in the countryside is cursed or something like that, until one day she is saved by the doll her goth ex-girlfriend created.

It turns out that one day, the doll Niamh gave to Paige becomes possessed by a Brownie, a creature from Scottish mythology. A Brownie is a small household creature that helps with chores during the night. It is often described as a spirit or fairy-like being, but with its own unique characteristics.

Paige ends up naming her new Brownie friend Faye, and the two become closer and closer until… well, anyway, Faye explains that the house is inhabited by evil spirits that try to do bad things to humans and that she is there to protect people.

And from there, a lot happens!

Giving my opinion, Our Home My Keeper is very beautiful. Every character EXCEPT Paige has a very cute and beautiful design. All the girls EXCEPT Paige are cute and beautiful. The game’s backgrounds are also very well made. I had already played Studio Élan’s previous game, Heart of the Woods, and Our Home My Keeper is much prettier.

However, being completely honest, I was really enjoying the story until I reached the ending. I obviously won’t give spoilers, but I would categorize the ending as “a huge mess that doesn’t know how to clean itself up.”

But the story up to that point was really cute and with a ton of mysteries.

The soundtrack is also good, and I liked that whenever a new song starts playing, its name appears in the corner of the screen. As for achievements and playtime, as I mentioned, it took me 5 hours to see the entire story, but if you’re a slower reader, you could take up to around 8 hours.

Regarding achievements, there’s no secret to them. You literally just have to finish the game. The game has no routes and no multiple endings. Once you press start, you simply progress through the dialogue, and as you advance through the story, you’ll unlock the achievements.

Our Home My Keeper is available on Steam and isn’t expensive. It also has a demo if you’d like to try it and see whether you agree with me about its ending.
