Mami Is Best Girl – Kanojo Okarishimasu Chapter 438

I knew Mami was the best girl in this manga and completely superior to Chizuru! In the latest Kanojo Okarishimasu Chapter 438, Mami meets Kazuya and decides to do the right thing by apologizing for the things she did to him.

The chapter starts with Kazuya taking his driving test. He is really nervous and, after thinking he had failed, finds out that he actually passed. Then Mami shows up and tells the two of them to leave together.

Then, when they say goodbye to each other, she calls him back and says she wanted to apologize for everything.

Kazuya then says something like, “Apologize for what?” Mami, embarrassed, says, “I just wanted to apologize.”

She knows she was kind of… harsh with him and Chizuru throughout several chapters, but it’s not like she was some huge villain either, right?

What I found funniest is that he doesn’t even know what she wants to apologize for and just keeps staring at her while she gets redder and redder:

Until she, completely embarrassed, tells him to turn around and just go already. Seriously… I love this new Mami, who does simple things like taking her driving test and actually wants to apologize when she screws up.

On top of that, she is really cute in this chapter. I don’t think she will appear much more in the story, but I really want to see more of this cute side of her.

My question is: did Kazuya really not understand that she was basically apologizing for everything she had done throughout the story, trying to get in the way of his relationship with Chizuru and all that? Or did he understand, but pretend that she didn’t need to apologize? I don’t know.

I knew from the beginning that she was Best Girl.
