Winning Over a Betrayed Gyaru Through Her Stomach in Jitsu wa Ippai Taberu Harapeko Gyaru

Another light novel with an incredibly long title: Jitsu wa Ippai Taberu Harapeko Gyaru ga Futamata Sareta kara Ibukuro o Tsukande Kuzu Kareshi kara Ryakudatsu Suru Koto ni Shita… Phew! This is yet another novel with a cheating theme, but this time we’re here to save a cute gyaru!

This is another light novel that originally started as a web novel and recently received a physical release, which was published last month!

From now on, I’ll simply call this novel Jitsu wa Ippai Taberu Harapeko Gyaru.

Our protagonist is Gakuto Suou, a young man who loves cooking and works part-time at a ramen shop. One day, Shizuku Kushina, the most beautiful and popular gyaru in his class, shows up at the restaurant completely soaked and heartbroken. She had just caught her boyfriend, Takashi Yamachi, cheating on her — and, by coincidence, Gakuto had also witnessed the betrayal.

Shizuku has always had a huge appetite, something her ex-boyfriend constantly criticized and rejected. But Gakuto not only accepts this side of her, he also starts preparing huge amounts of food specifically for her. Between giant bowls of ramen, extra-large lunch boxes, and all kinds of dishes made by Gakuto, the two begin spending more and more time together.

At first, Gakuto only wanted to help Shizuku get over the pain of being cheated on. However, as he watches her happily eat the food he prepares, his feelings begin to change. Meanwhile, Shizuku also becomes increasingly comfortable around the boy who accepts her huge appetite and is always willing to feed her.

And so begins the story of a boy who loves cooking and wants to “feed someone” and a hungry gyaru who “wants to eat a lot.” Through lots of food, huge portions, and time spent together, the two gradually grow closer and slowly develop special feelings for each other.

Isn’t the story of Jitsu wa Ippai Taberu Harapeko Gyaru cute? Well, except for the cheating part, of course.
