AV Actress Yua Fukuda Was Detained in New Zealand, Interrogated for 6 Hours and Sent Back to Japan

The Japanese AV actress Yua Fukuda, known for her work as an exclusive MOODYZ actress, revealed on social media that she was denied entry into New Zealand and ended up being deported back to Japan after going through a long and stressful immigration process.
According to her account, she was subjected to more than six hours of interrogation, underwent a drug test, had her luggage confiscated, and remained in a detention cell before being placed on a return flight.
Yua Fukuda Was Excited About Her Trip
Before traveling, AV actress Yua Fukuda was posting several cheerful tweets saying she was going abroad, and even made a cute post asking her followers to try guessing the destination.

Later, she posted a video from inside the airplane showing the scenery and saying she was happily heading to New Zealand, but things did not end well.
In a later post, she said:
“I was held in a detention center in New Zealand. At the entry of the country, I was interrogated for over six hours and subjected to a drug test. In the end, my entry was refused. Around ten police officers showed up, confiscated my luggage, and placed me in a dirty cell. I am now being deported back to Japan.”
She also commented that she fears this incident may make future international travel more difficult.
“Since this is now in my record, entry into other countries may also become stricter, so I might not be able to travel alone anymore. All I can do now is laugh.”
Actress Revealed Details of Immigration Questions
In later posts, Yua Fukuda shared more details about what happened during the inspection process. According to her, authorities only briefly asked about her profession, and she answered that she worked as a photography model.

“They only briefly asked about my job. I said I was a photo model and showed photos from shoots wearing regular clothes, as well as my income statement from last year.”
She also explained her planned travel route:
- Queenstown
- Tekapo
- Christchurch
- Auckland
The itinerary was planned for 5 days and 7 nights.
Lack of Activity Bookings Raised Suspicion
Yua Fukuda said she chose not to book tourist activities because she intended to spend most of her time enjoying natural landscapes and stargazing, and also because traveling between cities would already take a lot of time.

According to her, however, the refusal document specifically pointed to this as a suspicious factor.
“The reason recorded was that it was suspicious to take a short solo trip without booking activities.”
The actress explained that her intention was simply to enjoy nature and observe the night sky during the trip.
Message to Fans After Deportation
Despite the situation, Yua Fukuda reassured her followers and praised the country.
“It’s okay. I think that because it is strict, New Zealand is able to maintain its safety. The last moon I saw there was also beautiful. I said goodbye to the police with a smile, they were kind. Your comments are comforting me. Thank you very much. I love you all.”

After the story went viral, various social media posts began speculating about possible reasons for the entry refusal, including comments linking the case to increased immigration enforcement and crackdowns on illegal overseas work.
The case also became news in New Zealand, and based on local reactions, many people tried to find a justification for her being sent back. A few said she was innocent and could visit the country normally.
However, many comments raised suspicion that she might have been trying to work secretly in New Zealand (which does not seem to be the case, since Yua Fukuda posted that it is her dream to travel and that she now has the financial means to do so).
