PreCure Collection Ends Up in Dad’s Room After 8-Year-Old Daughter “Graduates” from the Franchise
The PreCure collection belonging to an 8-year-old girl has found a new home after she decided it was time to move on. Her father explained on X in Japan that his daughter had been watching the franchise on Prime Video, but recently told him: “I don’t need these anymore, so just put them in Dad’s room.”
And that’s exactly what happened.
A photo posted by user “Nyan” (@beat8175) shows the floor almost completely covered with PreCure merchandise. There are transformation devices, weapons, and other toys from different generations of PreCure, and guess what? The collection left plenty of adult fans feeling jealous:
Since PreCure first premiered in 2004, each new series has usually arrived with a new wave of merchandise. So it didn’t take long for fans to start trying to identify which seasons were represented in this impressive collection.
Some fans recognized merchandise from Healin’ Good♥PreCure, while others spotted toys connected to much older series. What started as a simple photo about a child moving on from a franchise quickly turned into almost a collective challenge for Japanese fans.
And then came the request that dominated the comments: don’t throw away the PreCure toys!
Many users said the girl could become interested in the franchise again someday and be incredibly happy to find her childhood toys waiting for her. Others spoke from personal experience, remembering how they got rid of things as children only to regret it years later.
There were also comments pointing out that some of these products could be difficult to find nowadays. After all, older toys eventually stop being sold, and when they show up on the secondhand market, they can cost much more than they originally did.
For now, Dad seems to have chosen the safest option: keeping everything stored in his own room.
Who knows? Maybe years from now, his daughter will look at that collection again and ask: “Dad, where are my PreCure toys?”
