My Dress-Up Darling Author Draws Official Art for Acosta Cosplay Event

Do you remember episode 5 of the first season of My Dress-Up Darling? In that episode, Marin and Gojo go to a cosplay event where people gather to show off their cosplays and take lots of photos.
It turns out that this is actually a real event in Japan, and it takes place in a specific area of the city where many cosplayers stay outdoors to take photos. The event is called Acosta, and you need to buy tickets to participate, whether you are a cosplayer or just a regular visitor.

Since the event appeared in the anime My Dress-Up Darling, the manga’s author is now creating the artwork for the event’s rules. For example, when you attend Acosta, you will see large banners explaining what you should not do, and the illustrations are drawn by the author of My Dress-Up Darling.

Above you can see a screenshot from the Kfel channel, which belongs to a cosplayer who attended the event and filmed the rule signs whose illustrations were made by the author of My Dress-Up Darling.
However, on the event’s official website we can see the illustrations more clearly.

I have no idea for how many years the manga’s author has had this partnership with the event and has been drawing the rule illustrations for it, or if she has created other artwork for the event before, but it is pretty cute, isn’t it?
