Man Killed After Revealing He Was Bald
Although we are already in 2026, this is a case that happened in 2024 (and was only judged at the end of 2025). It is an extremely bizarre and tragic case, and everything revolves around the fact that the man was bald — and yes, she killed him.
Our story begins with a woman who lived in Yamaguchi and decided to move to Tokyo. She found a formal job at first but eventually quit and began living off temporary work. Tokyo is a city full of temptations, and she eventually became involved with host clubs.
Because of these clubs, she accumulated a large amount of debt. However, everything changed in January 2024. Through a dating app, she met a man who was a certified accountant working at a major company.
He was financially stable, which led the two to start dating, and very quickly they ended up living together.
Man Reveals He Is Bald and the Relationship Completely Changes
After a few months, the man finally decided to reveal a problem he had to his girlfriend: he suffered from alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss. Throughout that entire time, he had been wearing wigs — to see her, to go out, and even to go to work.
After this revelation, the woman’s attitude toward him changed completely. She began using her partner’s insecurity as a means of control. On several occasions, she threatened to end the relationship or humiliated him because of his appearance.
There were episodes in which she demanded constant apologies, monitored his movements, and even physically assaulted him, causing swelling to his face. Even so, the man rarely reacted, always taking the blame to avoid conflict.
The Day of the Crime
On the day of the crime, September 16, 2024, a trivial argument outside their home escalated in an unusual way. Unlike other times, the man did not immediately give in. The woman then began threatening him, saying she would post photos of him without his wig on social media, exposing his condition.
They returned to the apartment, where she grabbed a pair of scissors. In her mind, this would supposedly calm him down (?), but instead she stabbed him in the neck with the scissors, killing him. She herself called emergency services, stating that the couple had argued and that the man was bleeding from the neck. Despite resuscitation attempts, the young man did not survive and died at the hospital.
The woman claimed they had been physically fighting and that she injured him “by accident,” but authorities dismissed this claim, stating that the blow was clearly intentional and that there were no signs of a struggle.
She was sentenced to 12 years in prison. During the trial, the criminal apologized to the victim’s mother, stating that her son still had his whole life ahead of him.
“This one deserved the death penalty already.”
