Cosplayer Kit Noel Arrested after bomb threat at Texas Anime Convention

The case of cosplayer Kit Noel arrested has gone viral after a shocking incident at an anime convention in Texas. Kendra Noel Manning, a 25-year-old influencer better known online as Kit Noel, was accused of making a bomb threat against a rival booth during the San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention following an online dispute over gamer energy supplements.

According to police reports, Manning posted on Instagram that she would “plant a bomb” at another influencer’s booth during the event. The comment alarmed attendees, who quickly informed convention staff. Kit Noel was then removed from the convention, barred from re-entry the following day, and later detained.
The incident raised serious safety concerns among participants, many of whom feared the threat might be real. Manning admitted to posting the threat before leaving the convention and was subsequently arrested, as reported by KENS 5.

Facing criminal charges
The cosplayer has been charged with making a terroristic threat to impair public service, a third-degree felony in Texas. If convicted, Kit Noel could face up to 10 years in prison. She was later released on a $35,000 bond, according to the Bexar County Central Magistrate.

Kit Noel is a popular cosplayer with around 115,000 followers on TikTok and 16,000 on Instagram, where she frequently shares cosplay content. Some of her most notable cosplays include Kitty Pride (X-Men), Wanda Maximoff, and Harley Quinn. On the day of the threat, she was dressed as Raven from the Teen Titans franchise.
