LoveR Kiss Endless Memories Removed from Steam shortly Before launch
The new romance game LoveR Kiss Endless Memories was removed from Steam shortly before its official release, and Dragami Games confirmed that it is facing difficulties making the game available on Valve’s platform. The announcement was made on October 27, and according to the company, “due to various circumstances, it has become difficult to release the game on Steam.”
Despite that, there’s some good news: Dragami Games revealed that it is exploring other options to release the PC version of LoveR Kiss Endless Memories on alternative platforms. The company promised to share more details “as soon as everything is finalized.”
Steam issues may be related to game content
Although the developer has not provided detailed explanations about the cancellation, there’s speculation that the game’s visual content may have been the reason. Even though LoveR Kiss Endless Memories does not include explicit scenes, it features revealing outfits and high school romance themes — elements that, in some cases, conflict with what Visa and Mastercard allow, since both essentially control the entire payment ecosystem.
The decision caught many fans by surprise, as the game already had an official store page published on Steam before being taken down. The removal happened shortly before the scheduled release date of November 27.
What is LoveR Kiss Endless Memories?
LoveR Kiss Endless Memories is a renewed and expanded version of LoveR Kiss, originally released in 2020, which itself was an upgrade of LoveR from 2019. The game combines romantic simulation and photography elements, where the player lives the daily life of a high school student while getting closer to seven different heroines.
In addition to graphical and gameplay improvements, this new version will be the first title in the LoveR series to receive an official English translation, opening the door to a global audience that until now could only play the Japanese versions… but apparently, Visa and Mastercard don’t want the international public to get to know this series.
Even with uncertainty surrounding the PC version, Dragami Games confirmed that LoveR Kiss Endless Memories will still be released for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on November 27. The company emphasized that the project remains in development and that it is “looking for the best way to make the game available to fans on PC.”
