Cosplayers sell foot juice

In a recent anime and gaming event in the United States, several Cosplayers created one of the most absurd and surreal scenes of the entire convention: they openly started selling visitors a supposed “fresh foot juice.”

According to reports, this happened during an unofficial late-night party held after the event’s official schedule had ended. The young Cosplayers brought a huge thermal cooler and filled it with an unknown red liquid.

After that, they placed their own feet inside the liquid to let them soak. The most shocking part was that numerous anime fans and visitors lined up in front of the cooler just to pay for a cup of the red liquid that had just passed between the Cosplayers’ feet.

According to reports from the scene, each cup of the drink was sold for up to 15 dollars.

The episode also led many observers to comment that, within the peculiar “free market economy” of the otaku fandom, simply understanding certain niche fetishes perfectly can create completely unexpected business opportunities.

And you, do you think selling “Cosplay foot water” at events is simply free market business or pure tasteless opportunism?
