What Happens to You If You Try to Spy on the Magic Mirror Truck During a Filming Session?

Recently, I published here about the JAV series Magic Mirror Truck, which is that series of Japanese adult films where people perform “vertical dancing” inside a mini truck that has a huge window, allowing those inside to see everything while people outside cannot see what is happening inside.
So, let’s say you are casually walking down the street and you see the Magic Mirror Truck on a filming day! You approach it and try to look through the window to see if you can spot something inside. What happens to you?

Well, the official Magic Mirror Truck profile answered this question in a tweet on July 10, satisfying the curiosity of many people but also raising new questions.
They published:
“People who appear looking inside the Magic Mirror vehicle during filming may later be approached by the staff and asked to fill out an image usage consent form.”

The post also included the photo shown above, featuring a curious couple who tried to see if they could look inside the vehicle. Since their faces were censored, we can assume they were ordinary people who were simply passing by and got caught by curiosity.
Among the reactions, some people were surprised to discover that those appearing through the window are not extras, but ordinary people. Others joked about the man’s hat.
Another question that was frequently raised was whether these people receive any payment for appearing in the film, since their image ends up being used as part of the recording, even if they only appear in the background. However, this question was not answered by the official profile (at least until the moment this article was published).

Either way, one curiosity has finally been cleared up: not everyone who appears in the background of Magic Mirror Truck films are actors or extras. Some are simply pedestrians who passed by the location, were filmed, and later signed a consent form allowing the use of their image, even with their faces censored.
The only mystery that remains unanswered is whether these people receive any financial compensation for their involuntary participation in the recordings.
