“FANS” Demand Emilia Censorship in Re:Zero

We are in 2026 and the so-called “fans” of the series are asking for it to be CENSORED. Just this week we reported here that there is a group working on a censored version of Made in Abyss, and now people are getting bothered by Emilia’s outfit.

Basically what happened is that a small profile, with only 800 followers and who claims to be a fan of the series, complained about the look Emilia is wearing in Season 4.

This is Emilia in the current anime:

And this was the tweet that went viral:

The tweet above reached 500,000 views and reading the comments, many people agree that Emilia should wear another outfit or go back to her old outfit.

Obviously there is also the other side, with people saying they like Emilia’s new outfit, it’s worth noting that Subaru is also wearing a new outfit this season.

Many people think she is unnecessarily erotic in this outfit. I checked how it is in the light novel and from what I could see, it is.

Emilia wears this outfit during the journey to the tower, as shown in the illustration below:

However, when they are inside the tower, Emilia changes and goes back to her usual outfit, the one she has been wearing since the first season. Below is the light novel art of when she faced Reid (which matches the scene above from the anime I included in this post):

So yes, in the light novel she is already wearing her classic outfit and in the anime she is not. It is probably a change approved by the author, but it is surprising to see fans of something asking for censorship…
