Otaku Asks for a Job Wearing Ahegao Hoodie and is Rejected
Apparently we have a case here of someone very based for a certain location, because if this story is true, we had the case of an Otaku Asks for a Job Wearing Ahegao Hoodie.
Our story today comes from a single tweet made on July 10th by “Voiles”, who with more than 30,000 likes published a funny situation that would have occurred in his place of work.
But before that, let me mention that our main character in the story, our unemployed otaku, walked into the place and asked for a job while wearing one of these:
Otaku Asks for a Job Wearing Ahegao Hoodie and is Rejected
dude with an ahego hoodie just walked in and asked for a job and i had to explain to my manager that his hoodie was porn and i would not hire him.

The post above generated several responses! A lot and a discussion has started whether it is morally correct to deny a person a job and a form of income just because of what he wears.
Some reactions:
yes wearing loli porn is how they look your are so right

not if it makes others uncomfortable in a place of employment

Imagine not getting hired because you were TOO based. https://t.co/W0P50RLZpB

Can you take your tattoos off? Genuine question

It's pretty common. A decent chunk of workplaces that have a "Now Hiring" sign out front allow this, and if you actually do need a job, why not? It's as good a place to start as any.
If nothing else, you can at least go in and ask for details.

This sounds like a CCP (Chinese Community Party) reference

not putting material that my coworkers are uncomfortable with in the workplace.

Deciding that you don’t want to hire someone who thinks that wearing hentai drawings on their clothing is appropriate isn’t discrimination. Please learn what words mean.

ngl idk how the hiring process works there but i feel like he should've at least gotten a chance to be interviewed for the job despite the hoodie
like i agree he shouldn't have worn it in there either way but if the dude's asking for an interview i'd say he should get a chance

just… wear something else if you're going to an interview?

There’s no way to know if the story is really real or made up to generate likes, but people actually go out with this ahegao sweatshirt and go to public places wearing them. To give you an idea, we have already had events in the US that even banned the use of clothing.
