According to his statement, the main reason behind his independence is the Soyogi Fractal project, an initiative centered on voice synthesis technology based on his own voice. The proposal includes voice software called Bon Soyogi and aims to explore new forms of expression that connect humans and artificial intelligence.

Yuki Kaji stated that he hopes to promote a kind of historic transformation in how voice is used, advocating for humans and AI to resonate and complement one another. For him, technology should not replace artists, but rather expand creative possibilities while preserving what he calls the soul of the human voice.
