Fans Create Uma Musume Racing Minigame in VRChat

The Uma Musume game has captured fans around the world, and at the end of July they decided to take the experience to another level. A group of talented fans created a fully functional racing game inside VRChat, allowing players to step into the shoes of their favorite characters and race on a virtual track—even as cosplay races pop up elsewhere.

Another highlight of the Uma Musume races in VRChat is that fans can act as commentators, narrating the action with the same excitement seen in real-life events and the anime. The creators paid close attention to details such as speed and stamina bars.

This isn’t the first time the Uma Musume community has surprised fans with projects like this. Previously, a fan-made Roblox mode recreated Tokyo Racecourse in 3D, but it seems the VRChat version offers even more excitement.
