Otaku Goes Viral After Embarrassing Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii Incident at School

An otaku became the talk of social media after sharing how a friend returned his manga at school, putting his social life at risk.

The user Harurumuaru posted a photo on October 16 showing his desk at a technical high school. On the desk were five volumes of a manga neatly stacked in plain view.

In his post, which quickly went viral, Harurumuaru said it was the first time someone had returned his manga like that—left exposed for everyone to see. He added that he was lucky to be in a technical school because, if it were a regular high school, he would probably have lost his social standing. As he joked, it looked like his “friend” was trying to execute him publicly by leaving those manga out like that.

And why would this ruin his social life? Because the manga in question is a yuri series titled Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii, which is known for being quite disturbing. Back in 2020, I mentioned this manga on the site and remember finding it pretty disgusting.

Here’s the synopsis:

Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii 3

No one would suspect that Airi Sezaki and Hinako Hanamura are close. They don’t share the same social circles and rarely interact at school. Few know that at the end of each day, the two meet in an empty classroom and indulge in the unspeakable. It’s in that classroom that Airi and Hinako secretly share their mutual depravity. But their lascivious encounters soon lead them into deeper trouble as they explore their fetishes further.

Harurumuaru meant that if this had happened in a more “ordinary” school, people might have recognized the manga—or worse, opened it and seen its disturbing content—marking him forever as the guy who likes disgusting stuff.
