What is Ore Netoraretaindesu? A New Netorare Manga

Recently, a new netorare-themed manga has gone viral on social media: Ore Netoraretaindesu, which roughly translates to “I Want to Be Cuckolded”.
Curious about this strange addition to the NTR world, I decided to read the first chapter. Honestly, I finished it with a headache and disgust for the protagonist — I absolutely hated his attitude.
What is Ore Netoraretaindesu? A New Netorare Manga.

The cover of the first volume shows our protagonist, Asitaba, excitedly holding a camera while filming his girlfriend being embraced by another man. Let’s break down chapter 1.
Our protagonist (whom I despise and hope he fails in his goal) is named Asitaba Kimigake. He has a beautiful girlfriend who truly loves him.

Everything changes when, while browsing the internet, he discovers netorare — the practice of a man watching his beloved partner with another. This revelation transforms Asitaba completely. He becomes obsessed, binge-watching videos, following couples online, and imagining his girlfriend cheating on him. His next step? Convincing her to do it.

He kneels before her and begs her to sleep with another man. Shocked, she asks if he still loves her. He responds with a twisted speech about love, but she doesn’t buy it. Unable to handle such a cruel request, she breaks up with him and leaves.
Five years pass. Since being dumped, Asitaba has only his hand for company, indulging in cheating videos and fantasizing about finding a woman willing to fulfill his fetish.

One day, at a school reunion, he drinks and talks with old classmates — many now married with children. Instead of nostalgia, he imagines which of them might be cheaters, envying their husbands.
Then he notices a woman rumored to be “easy” and quickly becomes excited, thinking she might be the one destined for him. A friend warns him to stay away from her, but Asitaba only grows more thrilled at the idea of dating someone who might betray him.

As they walk together, she clings to him. He gets aroused by his imagination, and she teases, asking if he’s taking her to a love hotel. He denies it, which she appreciates. Then she reveals something unexpected: despite her reputation, she wants a true romance. She admits to having experience with men but insists that when she dates, she’s faithful and only goes to bed with someone she truly loves. Sadly, men often leave her because of her past.
She confesses her feelings and even asks him to date her. But what does Asitaba do? He rejects her — simply because she confessed to wanting a real, monogamous relationship. That alone killed his excitement.

At this point, it became clear: the protagonist doesn’t want love. He doesn’t care about relationships or affection. All he wants is to satisfy his fetish, no matter what.
The woman slaps him and storms off.

Chapter 1 ends with Asitaba once again imagining which women could secretly indulge his perversion. From what I’ve seen of later chapters, he continues meeting different women, hoping to find THE ONE who also enjoys netorare.
The official synopsis of Ore Netoraretaindesu claims Asitaba is searching for “true love,” but based on the first chapter, it’s doubtful that’s what he’s really after. Apparently, he’ll eventually meet a “pure and honest” woman who might match his desires… but only time will tell.
