idol Discovered Hidden Cameras during a Fan Photoshoot

Marin Aoi is an idol who was part of the group MELODY MELLOW until July this year. After leaving, she started a rather unusual line of work: photoshoots with fans. I’m not exactly sure how it works, but apparently, she gets paid to take photos with fans, always with her manager nearby.

During one of these sessions, she went to a photoshoot with a fan where she was supposed to wear a swimsuit. However, in her changing room, where she was going to change, Marin Aoi discovered several hidden cameras recording her while she changed!

She posted photos of the cameras on her profile. The hidden camera looked like a USB device but actually had a lens to record everything.

She said:

“This happened during a one-on-one photoshoot with a fan I trusted, under the condition that a manager was present.
Five hidden cameras were installed in the changing room. Just thinking that I didn’t notice the cameras still makes me feel fear and distress. Especially for all performers who participate in photoshoots and similar events, please be careful.”

Regarding the case, she said that she and her manager contacted the police, who seized the cameras, and the fan was arrested. She felt the need to share the story to warn other women working in the same field.

After her post went viral, some people were confused about her work: “private photoshoots with fans?” According to some online sources, this is even a common activity among aspiring or small-time idols as a way to earn money and fans.

Marin Aoi said she plans to return to music one day.
