Manga Author Shino, Creator of Boku to Gal ga Fuufu ni Naru made, Passes Away

The editorial department of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh announced that Shino, creator of the manga Boku to Gal ga Fuufu ni Naru made, has passed away, leaving the series unfinished.
In a statement shared on Twitter, the editorial team wrote:

Professor Shino, author of Boku to Gal ga Fuufu ni Naru made, which was serialized in this magazine, passed away in June 2025.
We would like to express our deepest condolences for the premature loss of Professor Shino.

Shino began publishing Boku to Gal ga Fuufu ni Naru made in December 2022. The story follows Saku Kanakura, a boy born into a poor household. After studying hard, he managed to pass the entrance exam to a prestigious high school, only to discover that his parents were deeply in debt.
When the time came to pay off the debt, a mysterious gal appeared and offered to cover it. However, she imposed one condition in return: she wanted Kanakura to marry her!
Fans are mourning the loss of the author and the abrupt end of the series.
