Japão Se Recusa a Remover Lolis da Comiket? Vamos Conferir se isso é Real Mesmo

Here we go again. A story recently went viral on social media with the headline: “Japan Refuses to Remove Lolis from Comiket – UN Condemns ‘Cultural Irresponsibility’.” And of course, it spread across the internet faster than manga spoilers before the release date.

It all started when the Japanese site Yaraon shared a post commenting on this supposed news — claiming the UN was upset because Japan refused to ban lolis from Comiket. The original article, they said, came from a site called Otakukart.

Here’s where it gets weird: if you visit Otakukart, you’ll see that the original article is dated April 19th, 2025. So yeah — it’s months old, but somehow started trending again like it was new.

Now, if you’ve followed Você Sabia Anime for a while, you probably remember that in the same month, Otakukart also went viral with a fake story claiming that a feminist group wanted to ban ecchi anime. Yup, that one too.

Before posting anything, I always do something a lot of sites don’t bother doing anymore: I check the original source.
It’s funny because big anime pages never cite sources and no one questions them. But when Você Sabia Anime posts something, people jump in like: “I don’t trust this page!” or “Where’s the source?”

Maybe I just sound too casual (lol), but okay, let’s move on. So, after checking, I realized Otakukart doesn’t cite any real sources at all. I even found Reddit threads from years ago where people complained that Otakukart steals posts, makes stuff up, and turns it into clickbait.

“Otakukart not only steals our posts, they add fake details and twist everything into clickbait.”

That comment is from nine years ago, but when you visit the linked article, the date now shows April 26th of this year.
Meaning: they change publication dates to make old posts look new — classic algorithm baiting.

And about that “source” they linked for the loli article?
It’s a 2023 Japanese government document that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. So yeah, they pulled that story straight out of their number two hole.

Now, do I think the UN might one day criticize Japan over this kind of content? Possibly. But this specific story? Completely fake. And sadly, big anime pages are spreading it like it’s real.

Bottom line: it’s fake news.

One last thing: I’m not saying Você Sabia Anime never makes mistakes — I can get something wrong even when checking sources carefully.
If that happens, just email me and I’ll fix it right away.
I’ve corrected posts before, and it’s funny how some people act like I’ll get mad — I won’t! I’d rather fix things than spread false info.

It’s been a while since we’ve had an error here, but if it ever happens again, feel free to tell me — I’ll fix it peacefully.

That’s it. Arigas!
