Ingoku Danchi anime will have voice actress playing 10 different characters
The Ingoku Danchi anime caught fans’ attention after an unusual announcement involving its voice cast. Voice actress Kana Yuuki was confirmed to be responsible for voicing no fewer than 10 different characters in the same production.

The Ingoku Danchi anime is based on the adult comedy manga created by Kenkyūjo Sakuseki, whose anime adaptation was officially announced in January 2026. Shortly afterward, in February, it was confirmed that Kana Yuuki would not only participate in the project, but would also portray a large number of distinct characters.
The news initially caused confusion among fans, leading the anime’s official social media account to clarify that it was not a mistake. According to the statement, Kana Yuuki agreed to continue with the project after previously participating in promotional materials, including the trailer for the manga’s first volume.
In the story of the Ingoku Danchi anime, the protagonist Mamoru Yoshida is a young high school graduate who ends up helping manage an apartment complex alongside his father. His routine changes drastically after receiving a complaint involving one of the residents, named Watanabe.
Despite initially not taking the warning seriously, Mamoru finds himself in an unexpected situation when he is confronted by the same resident under strange circumstances. He soon discovers the existence of a mysterious item known as the Libido Cloth, a special outfit that affects the behavior of whoever wears it.
From that point on, Mamoru tries to uncover the mystery behind the item and the impact it has on the residents. The story blends comedy elements, exaggerated situations, and moments aimed at adult audiences, something that was already characteristic of the original material.
Kana Yuuki will play an important role in the Ingoku Danchi anime, as she will voice characters such as Watanabe, Katagiri, Ichinose, Mizutani, Sanamori, Kanzaki, Shikijō, Gōda, Sakakura, and Ikayama, as you can see in the image above on the MAL listing.
In an official comment, Kana Yuuki expressed surprise upon learning that she would voice Watanabe, considered one of the central figures of the story. She also stated that she is motivated and determined to give her best performance in all of her roles.
In addition to her, the main character Mamoru Yoshida will be voiced by Aika Wakuno. The Ingoku Danchi anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.
