According to data released by the official Dragon Ball website, Goku participated in a total of 117 fights throughout the series. Out of those, Goku won 76, lost 16, and 25 ended without a clear winner or a properly defined outcome.
All these numbers give Goku a win rate of 65%, which probably does not match what many fans expected. Goku is completely obsessed with fighting, and wins or losses are not that important to him. Still, this is likely a win rate that fans did not imagine.
It is interesting to note that Goku did not achieve a single victory during the Android Saga. After defeating Frieza on Namek, Goku did not win another fight until he defeated Yakon in the Majin Buu Saga.
The franchise’s website did not count the Father-Son Kamehameha as a victory, likely because Gohan assisted in the energy attack during the Cell Saga.
