Hanaori-san Manga Will Get a TV Anime Adaptation in 2026

The Hanaori-san manga, officially titled Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shite mo Kenka ga Shitai, will receive a TV anime adaptation set to premiere in 2026. The announcement came from Pony Canyon, which also released a teaser visual.

About Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shite mo Kenka ga Shitai
The story follows Ryūsei Narukami, a shut-in who spends his days playing video games, but who was once a feared Demon King in another world. On the other side is Meteor Hanaori, the heroine who defeated him in the past and now lives as a high school student.

This romantic comedy blends fantasy and humor, exploring the relationship between a former Demon King and a former Hero who remain connected even after reincarnation.
Manga creator Hekiru Hikawa shared thoughts about the adaptation:
“When I first heard that Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shite mo Kenka ga Shitai would become an anime, I thought it was just a dream. But it’s really happening. I’m glad to see how the team is keeping the original atmosphere while making it fun, stylish, and exciting.”
