However, a post on X (formerly Twitter) led Japanese players to mistakenly believe that Fate/Grand Order was collaborating with Puella Magi Madoka Magica. But why did this misunderstanding happen?

The confusion was caused by an incorrect translation generated by Grok AI, which is now displayed as the default translation for many users on the platform.

The misleading post quickly caught the attention of Japanese fans, generating both confusion and amusement. Many were left wondering how such an unusual collaboration could even be possible.

At the same time, the incident highlighted a growing concern: AI-generated translations are still not fully reliable and can easily spread misinformation.

It’s important to note that Fate/Grand Order does not collaborate with franchises outside of Type-Moon. This means that in-game events only feature characters from within the Type-Moon universe.

The event in question is titled “Witch on the Holy Night: Murder at the Kumano Hot Springs”, bringing characters from the Mahoutsukai no Yoru visual novel into the game.

This situation serves as yet another example of how AI can create confusion when translations are inaccurate. While AI tools are becoming increasingly popular, users should still approach them with caution—especially when it comes to important or widely shared information.
