Ballerina Sparks Controversy After AV Debut Announcement

On September 19, a newly created Twitter account posted an announcement from a woman named Saki Seino, revealing that she would make her JAV debut with her first film scheduled for release on October 3.
However, her debut announcement drew far more attention than anyone expected — her tweet reached an astonishing 36 million views, becoming one of the most talked-about topics online and sparking massive controversy.
Ballerina Sparks Controversy After AV Debut Announcement
Saki Seino’s tweet read:
“I was in the Top 3 of a national ballet competition, and I’m debuting in AV. Please support and follow me!”

It’s common for the JAV industry to highlight an actress’s background — whether she was an athlete, idol, singer, or even a VTuber — and use that as the theme for her debut film.
In Saki Seino’s case, her debut features her wearing a ballet outfit and performing dance poses during her “action scenes.” But this choice has sparked a wave of backlash.
As mentioned, her announcement gained over 36 million views, and most of the reactions were from people angry that she used ballet to promote an adult film.
- Why does she have to tarnish the ballet she worked so hard for?
- Her hips are lifting with her leg, her knee is bent, she’s not even standing properly on her left leg… in short, she’s full of mistakes. There’s no way someone like that could have made it into the top 3 of a competition.
- From the angle of her hips, the way her supporting leg is open, and the fact that the knee of her raised leg isn’t fully extended, you can tell she’s not good at ballet.
- There was another AV actress who said she did ballet and caused controversy, right? I don’t remember the name, but there was a precedent. Yet, this person who doesn’t even know how to wear pointe shoes comes out and says she came in 3rd place nationally? Japan is truly bizarre.
- I dedicated myself to ballet for 14 years with all my effort, and I don’t want ballerinas to be associated with this kind of thing.
And looking at her, you can tell she doesn’t even know how to dance ballet… Seriously, how awful.

- I pity anyone who actually studies ballet.
- I’ve done ballet, and she’s terrible at lifting her leg. With her hips so open, it’s impossible she ever competed in a competition—it’s a blatant lie.
- Fuji Kanna also called herself a ballerina at the same level and was criticized by many people who actually do or did ballet. And now another one? (laughs)
- Only someone completely new to ballet would say such a shameful thing… With that execution… And on top of that, “Top 3 national”? 🤣www
- My parents forced me to do ballet, so I don’t like ballet—but I hate seeing ballet used in pornography even more.
- Girls who dedicate themselves to ballet end up becoming targets for guys who can’t distinguish reality from adult films, so stop it.
- If you’re going to debut, do it without carrying the past. Ballet people must find that extremely irritating and unpleasant. You know it’s dirty work, right?
- Another profession or talent being sexualized… My childhood friend also worked hard in ballet, so I wish they’d stop doing it. It’s repulsive.
- As someone who’s done ballet, I think it defiles the art—and besides, with that “développé” (I don’t even know if you can call it développé, since she put her leg up on the tree), there’s no way she could have come in third in a national competition. Please stop lying.
- I’ve seen other photos of her, and she’s clearly never placed in the top 10 of any ballet competition.

- She’s filming in a place that looks like a forest, like “Jukai Sea of the Woods” (Jukai), and no one’s commenting on it. I’m dying (laughing).
- I won’t comment on the promotion, but this woman is an actress with the Mines agency. There are adult actresses who have dance experience, including ballet, and use that skill. I hope she knows how to use what she has too.
- Please stop doing this kind of thing by wearing ballet clothes and linking ballet to pornography. There are many children involved in this. And even saying “Top 3 national”? Makes me laugh.
- Personally, I don’t think that’s “making your debut in AV,” it’s “falling in AV.” “Making your debut” connotes something glamorous, going on stage with glitz—but the world in which you expose your genitals to the world is filthy and doesn’t fit with that word.
- Looking at the way she lifts her leg, it doesn’t look like she’s ever done ballet. I mean, in a Y-shape balance position, you rotate your raised leg outward, you know?
- I was curious and watched the sample video—and at the beginning, there’s a cut of her dancing ballet. But it doesn’t even remotely resemble a Top 3 contestant’s performance. Actually, Nagisa Kokoa is very good at ballet.
- I don’t know if it’s true or false (probably false), but I’ve had enough of AVs with themes of professions or rape. Using professions is disrespectful to those who actually work, and these violent themes only further confuse those who can’t distinguish fiction from reality.
The backlash was overwhelming, with thousands of critical comments. Many people tried to verify Saki Seino’s ballet claim, searching her name in competition records — but found no trace of her.
Some suggested that “Saki Seino” might be a stage name, and if she really had ranked Top 3 as a child, it would be almost impossible to confirm.
It’s been a long time since a JAV announcement created such a heated debate. If you’re curious about her debut scenes, they’re available on Cakemoe.
