Author of Hinako Note Creates Adult Version of Special Story

Comic Cune magazine celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special edition. Several of its authors contributed with short stories and illustrations, and three new series also debuted on August 27.
Comic Cune is known for publishing 4-koma manga, and in recent years, some titles have even been adapted into anime such as Tonari no Kyūketsuki-san, Arisu or Arisu, Nyanko Days, and Pan de Peace.

Another popular manga from the magazine is Hinako Note, created by Mitsuki. It ran from August 2014 to January 2021, totaling seven volumes, and even received a TV anime in 2017. The story follows student Hinako Sakuragi, who moves to Tokyo and, along with friends, forms a theater troupe after finding out her school’s drama club had been closed.

As part of Comic Cune’s 10th anniversary, Mitsuki was invited to draw a brand-new short story of Hinako Note. She expressed her gratitude to the fans and the editorial team:
“Special short story for Comic Cune’s 10th anniversary. It was fun drawing Hina-chan and the others in their school uniforms again after such a long time.”

Fans were thrilled to see new content from Hinako Note, but Mitsuki shocked everyone by releasing an Adult Version of the Special Story exclusively for her Fanbox and Fantia subscribers!
She said:
“10th anniversary short story Adult Version for Fanbox and Fantia. It will be available for a limited time, but I’ll take it down if I get scolded! Please enjoy the differences.”

In recent years, the author of Hinako Note has fully embraced adult content. Through her Fantia and Fanbox, fans can see erotic illustrations of the once cute characters from her manga, now in explicit situations.
To make things even more surprising, there are also comments suggesting that Mitsuki has been sharing sensual photos of herself on these platforms, although this has not been fully confirmed.
Some fan reactions included:
- “As expected from Mitsuki-sensei, doing what regular manga authors never could.”
- “She’s promoting unhealthy stuff right after drawing something wholesome.”
- “Mitsuki-sensei never disappoints.”
- “She must draw adult works or she’d die if she stopped.”
- “I laughed so hard when she said she’d delete it if she got scolded.”
