Allegedly Used Swimsuits Sell Out Quickly

A Japanese store that sells women’s clothing intended for “men to wear” announced the arrival of several female school swimsuits. The post reached nearly 12 million views and generated a wide range of reactions from the public.

There are several female school swimsuits, and some were even placed on mannequins.

THE VERY NEXT DAY, the store posted that the items they had put up for sale were already almost sold out, showing that after the post went viral, many people rushed to purchase the items.

However, despite the title of the post, many people are unsure whether the items are actually used or not. The store only describes them as “PREMIUM” and “NEW ARRIVALS,” but there is a suspicious used vibe to the clothing. To begin with, the place where they are being sold is not a store that deals in ordinary items.

Secondly, many of the swimsuits have names that are typically associated with items that have already been used. Shall we read some comments?

  • “Used (they didn’t say it was used by a girl)”
  • “It’s scary to have a name written on it”
  • “It’s a ‘new arrival,’ but it looks heavily used”
  • “I don’t really understand, but why is a place like this allowed?”
  • “What’s on the mannequin is going to make feminists furious”
  • “In the quote tweets, a lot of people are freaking out about sexual consumption”
  • “Wait, it has a name, right? Was this really used by someone?”
  • “Do mannequins nowadays even model nipple contours?”
  • “I thought it was a shop that made official uniforms… but it’s ‘used’…”
  • “It looks used, but is this that kind of store?”
  • “Premium (with a suspicious meaning)”

Although the store does not explicitly state that the items are used, many people are suspicious about the origin of these female school swimsuits.
