How do you get around censorship from banks and social media when drawing lolis? One of the most prolific loli artists is Yuu Kamiya, No Game No Life author, who occasionally posts semi-nude loli illustrations.

He went viral for refusing to use a certain technique to bypass censorship. A profile called YT Haruka shared a tip that went viral on how to avoid online censorship.

They posted:

“This is some serious advice.

If you’re posting erotic art on X, including pubic hair makes it more likely to avoid being flagged under international loli standards and reduces the chance of your account being restricted. So it’s better to make that the default, and if you really prefer it smooth, post that version as an alternate on Pixiv or somewhere else.

Let it grow. Add it.”

This advice sparked a lot of reactions, but Yuu Kamiya was very clear about his stance on drawing hair on his characters:

“I firmly refuse,” he said in the first tweet, and then added:

“I will absolutely not accept it. The women I draw do not have such vile hair. I’d rather quit drawing altogether than depict that.”

As you can see, his comments garnered over 2 million views and were widely praised by fans who also don’t want to see lolis with hair, while appreciating the author’s strong determination not to include it in his girls.

Of course, this comes down to each author’s preference. Some artists add hair in rather unpleasant places…
