Nanase Takahashi explained that she has a group of seven extremely loyal fans who always attend her events and photo sessions. Most of them are between 40 and 60 years old, and some have followed her career since her underground idol days. Among them was a man in his 50s who was considered one of the closest.
One day, this fan had been invited to appear on a radio program alongside Nanase herself, representing her supporters. However, on the scheduled day, he simply didn’t show up. What made things worse was that he wasn’t replying to messages or answering calls. Since he had been seen drinking heavily the night before and had heart problems, the situation quickly became worrying for the race queen.
Because of this, Nanase and the other fans decided to take action themselves. They gathered all the information they had about him, including details such as his car model and even his postal code, which she had previously obtained through a gift wishlist.
The search led the group to an old apartment in Kanagawa Prefecture. After explaining the situation to the landlord, they were given permission to enter. What they found was an extremely messy environment, filled with trash and signs of neglect, but there was no trace of the man.
With no answers, the group expanded the search. They visited hospitals in the area and then went to Shinjuku, where he had last been seen. Even then, they found no concrete clues.
With no other options, Nanase decided to go to a police station to try to get information. However, the police initially explained that only family members could file a missing person report. Even so, she insisted, explaining that he lived alone and had no one else who could search for him.
Then something unexpected happened. After waiting for some time, the police brought the man himself to her. He was alive and apparently fine, causing an immediate emotional reaction from everyone present.
According to the fan, he had gotten into a fight with another drunk man at a train station after the event. During the altercation, he injured the other person and was taken into police custody. Because of that, he had been unable to contact anyone during that time.
When he learned that Nanase and the other fans had visited hospitals, gone to his apartment, and even gone to the police station to find him, he became deeply emotional. He said he never imagined anyone would go that far for him, especially at this stage of his life.
